Reza Aslan. Is what he said inaccurate?

Reza Aslan. Teachable moment. Suppose the quote was from an anonymous source. Then you'd have to think up a response that actually deals with what is said, rather than who said it. As it is, your response is a perfect example of the ad hominem fallacy (which many mistakenly think is just a synonym for name calling.)
Here endeth the lesson.

Trump was elected president not Pope. The American people voted for him to sort the country out not quote from the bible. As for Reza Aslan the bloke is a joke. Here are just a few reasons of many why:

The American people voted for him to sort the country out Oh well. Better luck next time. Not that I want to rain on Trump's parade. But then I can't, because it turns out he couldn't even manage to arrange one.

Here are just a few reasons of many why: Yes but many American Christian conservatives think of their politicians as "religious figures" of sorts, so the pope comparison isn't entirely inacurate. If Trump ran on the exact same platforms but was an admitted atheist, do you really think Christian Republicans would vote for him? There's a reason he picked an Christian fundamentalist as his running mate, he might not have been able to win over evangelicals without Pence.

Here are just a few reasons of many why: Funny how Evangelicals vote against Dems because they claim they have no choice but to vote with their religion, but when challenged about voting for Repubs who are scumbags they fall back on the, "Well, I want voting for him to be my priest" (or pope, as you said) excuse.
