If my grandparents were not killed in the Holocaust, and as far as I know it didn’t directly affect any of my relatives, can’t I say that the Holocaust was wrong without having being oppressed by it? If a belief that you steadfastly have caused you to lose your job and not get another one in that field, isn’t that sacrifice regardless of your level of success and wealth, especially if the career is something you love? Everyone points to his bank account, yet there are other sacrifices a person can make (all the while it’s cost him future earnings). |
