think last time was 2016 when he was in the minors for the Braves.
enjoy your retirement - the greatest 1B in Phils History.
his 5 year or so run was off the charts.........thought he was destined for HOF.
sadly injuries, the shift, he continued to swing at breaking balls 2 feet outside in the dirt - caught up with him and he fell off the face of the earth just like Rollins, Halladay, Utley, Lee, Chooch.
shockingly - there was one year - may have been the plus 50 homer year and over 120 ribbie year - where he hit over .300 too. was a pleasure to watch for that 5 year span or so.

There was a five year stretch where Howard was unmatched. He was a lot of fun to watch. He sure did fall off a cliff though.
