My dad wears full Swans regalia to every game (scarf, jumper, shirt and cap) and he's 4 weeks short of 70. I can't see any harm in it.

Why shouldn't a older fan be able to support their team
You're never too old.

I wear my OJ Simpson, Ray Lewis and Aaron Hernandez jerseys all the time, even after I spilled ketchup on them!

Why shouldn't a older fan be able to support their team You're never too old. I'd still wear one to an arena/stadium. I only own 2, replicas. Team Canada, 1998 Yzerman & 2010 Toews.

No age cut off for wearing a club shirt.
However, names on back has an age limit of about 16.
And, full kit age limit is about 12.

There should be a cut-off weight. You don’t wanna see a 5’10”, fat, beer-gutted guy wearing a Kevin Durant replica top. Especially if it’s an OKC one.

If you're over 14 and aren't playing the sport in question you shouldn't be wearing one.

No. But there should definitely be some sort of criteria met for you to wear pajamas in public.

I’ll never understand the snobbery regarding replica jerseys. Maybe it’s a cultural thing. I dunno. Around here they’re normal. And are quite comfortable in the colder months overtop a hoodie. Perfect attire for tailgating.

Why should I care about what another man is wearing? If a 50 year old man wants to wear a jersey, so be it.
I haven’t worn a jersey since high school, when I out grew my Nets Ed O’bannon jersey. But I’m not going to begrudge a grown man for wearing one today.

Might as well have an age cutoff for being a fan if you are going to put one for wearing sports jersey.
