When our options are having to figure out why things happen and/or develop solutions to difficult questions and/or accepting that quite often there isn't a reason - and bad things do just randomly happen or taking an answer from an existing scripture that is Divinely inspired even if it doesn't really make a huge amount of sense (but it does save us having to think about it and everyone seems to have already agreed to it) then isn't just nodding, smiling and accepting the easy answer the best thing to do?
Am I right here?
The perceived "freedom" of not following the authorised version of the truth, no matter how appealing that sounds, is actually a form of slavery. It is forcing you to work endlessly to try to find answers to things that can't always be answered. Better to just accept the authorised version of the truth without thinking.
