I'm sorry, but you'll have to speak up!

"I am a fan of both, but I prefer Classic Who by a tiny margin - it seems less superficial, I think."
I prefer Classic Who by a huge margin.
New Who mostly annoys me. I like both but I like new Who more because it has two of my favorite companions Amy and Clara but then I liked it before they were on it. So more likely than not I'll still like it now that they're both gone.

I preferred Amy, she seemed more real than Clara, who was a pretty face but not much else. In Classic Who, my favourite companions were Ace, and Tegan. I had Tegan's classic line "I'm just a mouth on legs" as my sig on a language board for years.

I like the new companion.
I think he makes an interesting change from the usual run of young, twenty-something girls from London.
I also hope that Bill will be interesting when she finally arrives.

I like the new Who. I haven't watched the classic Who because it's not on netflix. You should definitely try to find it somewhere, there are years of stories to enjoy! I saw it first when I was a child, in 1965 (yes, I am an old person).

I suspect I have watched Talons more than any other Who story. Not because it's my favourite, but there are always plenty of reasons to watch it.

Doctor Who one through four are fantastic! Twelve is in their league, but often needs better scripts...here's hoping his final season will be impressive!

I am an all-around fan. Started way back in early 1981 when my local PBS station was showing the Tom Baker era. The first episode I saw was "The Planet of Evil" part 3 or maybe 2. [Oops sorry looks like this starts to ramble on longer than I planned] They started showing it weeknights around 6 or 6:30? M-F one episode a day. At first it was just Bakers episodes from Robot to The Hand of Fear then they slowly got around to the episodes with Leela til she left, then up through the Later Baker episodes then eventually added the Peter Davison episodes. I think it was around then they started showing Dr. Who late night Saturdays the complete stories not just by episode, and stuck with the full story format then they started showing Hartnell through Davison added Colin Baker and got Sylvester McCoy about a year after he started, then they were a year behind though the end of the Main Classic run. Fox showed the 1996 Movie, then BBC America came around when Nu-Who started. Now we usually see the latest episodes within 24 hours of the original UK airings. It was frustrating those years when we wouldn't get new episodes until a year after the original UK airing. Those were pre-internet days so news didn't travel as fast. I kept up with the official magazine but I digress.
Alternate Wibbly Wobbly Fact: A few years before I actually started watching the show I had seen The Pinnacle Books (the first US Published Doctor Who books) at my local News Stand (that store is a story in itself) I could of sworn it was 1977 or 78 but those were first published in 1979. I remembered the title Doctor Who and glanced at them but didn't start purchasing any of them until after I got into the show early 1981.
Another Wibbly Wobbly Fact: in the early or mid 1970s I had seen parts of a British Show in Black and White (or on a B&W TV but I think it was a color TV but B&W show) I have concluded must have been some Jon Pertwee Doctor Who Episodes with U.N.I.T. fighting aliens in a warehouse or caves. Might have been one of the Silurian episodes. Logic says it was a PBS station, but I thought it was a regular network station. I seem to recall at one time CBS toyed with the idea of showing Doctor Who in the states back then but there seems to be no record of that failed experiment.

OH and I have many fave episodes top one would probably be Pyramids of Mars or Blink or one of the many Dalek stories. You get the idea. Also I tend to reply to the question "Who is your favorite Doctor?" with something like "To me it is like asking a mother of more than one child which of her children is her favorite?"
