Rey Kahuka, you sure you’ve got your information right, or is this a late April Fools’ joke? Because I’m not IMDb Pro right now, and not only is no “Marissa Dalembert” listed in Raiders’ credits, but also there’s no Marissa Dalembert on the whole site, if you search the name.

I’m going on the assumption now that this information isn’t true. There’s absolutely nothing on IMDb Pro that I can see about a “Marissa Dalembert,” or any other Dalembert, for that matter. As @homergreg noted, it’s an uncommon surname.

Was the point of your ruse the “tying a whole thread together in a punchline” that @homergreg wanted?

Was the point of your ruse the “tying a whole thread together in a punchline” that @homergreg wanted? Yeah, I thought people would see through the ruse when they googled it and came up with nothing. I should've made the information crazier to make the joke more obvious. My bad, hope you guys didn't lose too much sleep over this.

It’s OK, Rey Kahuka; I definitely didn’t lose any sleep over trying to figure out who an extra is, and I probably would have more quickly seen it was a gag had I not just tracked down a real-life TV show that didn’t have an IMDb page or any Google results. It’s just that I enjoy looking into these mysteries, and it’s disappointing when a lead is actually fake.

"Internet humor...it is a difficult concept." You could have slipped it in that she was once married to Alan Smithee, or was the grandchild of Otis Criblecoblis. No, wait... that's no good; those guys both had actual onscreen credits. They must've been real.

By the way, what do you think of Rey Kahuka ’s find? You don't wanna know ... I am trying to cut down on rants these days … so far kept quiet during the "pretend you don't know who Stan Lee is" debacle so there is some built up steam right now !

Oh boy, as if we really needed another mystery (do we?), and another Spielberg mystery to boot, no one seems to know who “Chester Copperpot” is in The Goonies (you just see his picture). Suspects, according to this site (and this one): Keenan Wynn, whom IMDb credits as the man in the picture. Apparently, though, Wynn’s family has said it’s not him. Sigmund Freud (?). Construction coordinator Bob Scaife, of whom I can’t find a picture. Spielberg’s father. Some random man in a prop photo, as the same photograph apparently appeared in the movie Shock Treatment (1981). Our list of major, chronic mysteries: My Sleuth singer (most likely solved, but no smoking gun). My missing Columbo. BATouttaheck ’s Raiders girl. RiP, IMDb ’s vocoder TV movie. Doghouse6 ’s missing line in All About Eve. And, it seems likely, now this. Any I missed?

Could it be Spielberg himself in makeup?

Now this is a lead. I found a post I’d made from a year ago on Reddit about this mystery. Someone suggested then that actress Rebecca Miller might be “Eyelids”—a suggestion that apparently totally slipped my mind. Miller was in Regarding Henry (1991) with Harrison Ford—and, based on stills from that movie, she looked a lot like “Eyelids Girl.” “Eyelids”: Miller: Certainly more like her than usual suspect Pola Churchill. Um, I genuinely would declare this case closed, the pictures look so much alike to me, if we just had any evidence Miller was in England (where the scene was filmed) at the time. According to Wikipedia, it was her second year at Yale. Still, it’s not impossible…

She could've gotten it removed, I suppose. You'd think if she was still in the industry, she would've come forward by now.

I actually reached out to her on Twitter…but she hasn’t used that account since Feb. 2019 or updated her website since 2009, so I’m not exactly holding out hope for a reply.
