Pal, I hate to say it, but—this may turn into yet another quest. OK, OK! Here’s what I’ve been able to figure out in admittedly only 5 min. of investigating it: some sources credit her as Pola Churchill, who was supposed to have a scene as a student in Raiders but whose scenes got cut. But I don’t think she’s the one, especially as there’s no record of Churchill’s actually have a scene that remained in the movie. (Also, Churchill and the girl in question don’t really look alike.) There’s a thread at an Indiana Jones forum, The Raven, about it, which I just bumped (I’m a member there). No one there seemed to know either, though. I know I know—

Nalkarj That's as far as I got too... along with the possibility that she was an uncredited British extra since apparently the school scene was shot in the UK. NOT a Sleuth Quest … no deep researching … merely a "just in case her cousin is a member of IMDB-V2 and recognizes her and posts the Eureka moment" thingy. NO phone calls or telegrams for this one ! she looks a little like Elizabeth Taylor … yes ? a little ?

I thought ages ago IMDb had her identified on the cast list. One of those extra characters listed as being "Uncredited". Guess they didn't or it was deleted years ago.

But here’s Churchill in her two deleted scenes: She really doesn’t look like “Eyelid Girl.” The folks on the Indy forum, The Raven, came to the conclusion she wasn’t the one—but they don’t know who “Eyelid Girl” is.

The good news, though, is that if Kernan is indeed the Sleuth singer, this can be our new unsolved-mystery entertainment!

The original Raiders script had a Jean Harlow type at his house when Marcus Brody arrives to talk to him.
Interesting that they were playing up his underage preferences even before he went to Nepal.
I want to know what's the backstory on the guy who leaves an apple on his desk.

The original Raiders script had a Jean Harlow type at his house when Marcus Brody arrives to talk to him. That’s Pola Churchill’s Susan—not that she looks much like Harlow in those shots I posted above. In all seriousness, I always wanted to know more about that too! (I always mix it up if that scene’s in Raiders or Last Crusade.) One thing I liked about the Fate of Atlantis comic (I’ve never played the video game) was that they included one of his students in the adventure, without detracting from Indy’s role or the girl’s. I liked that, though that may be because I once thought of a similar plot.

Ditto on all of it, and it doesn’t even address trying to figure out who she is, to boot! I’m happy to hear someone else is looking into this (i.e., caught the-desire-to-solve-mystery bug). My guess is that she’s British and an extra.
