www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45465028The BRodger has said that he is "living the dream" at Celtic, but he must wonder what more he can do there. Buying players for £3/£4 million and selling them on for considerably more is good business but it won't get him what he wants. Regular appearances in the last 16 of the CL. His team dominate the SPL but suffer in comparison to most European leagues. He needs to be given most of the £30 million or so collected recently from transfers out, in order to bring in players who are better than The Invincibles, who in spite of their double Treble winning performances in Scotland routinely get their arses kicked in European competitions. But where would he go to even get a sniff of CL football if he went back down South. ManCity, ManUtd, Arsenal, Chelsea, Spuds and Liverpool are, for the moment, happy with the managers they have. Few other teams (Leicester apart) seem able to join them. He's a young man, so maybe an ambitious club outside the EPL but with the promise of substantial funds being made available would be his best bet. Villa, 'Boro, Leeds and a Combined Wednesday/United club in Sheffield have the desire. Much will depend on whether the Celtic board are content to be big fish in a small pond or whether they are serious about trying their luck in the bigger pond.
