Some of the Agatha Christie ones don't make much sense.

The Canadian book "The Book of Negroes" got changed to "somebody knows my name". Negroes was the problematic word even though there actually IS a book of negroes.

Remembrance of Things Past was updated to In Search of Lost Time, which is a more accurate translation of À la recherche du temps perdu.
But I personally prefer Remembrance.

Idk about literature but there is a children's book series CHARLIE AND LOLA and they live in Britain. The first book is titled I SHALL NEVER, NOT EVER, EAT A TOMATO.
Now, even though this is written through a small child's eyes, the order of the words is different in Britain than it is in the USA. Sometimes it is the words chosen. In USA shall is rarely used, especially from a child so the USA translated the book to I WILL NEVER... . I have also seen I WILL NOT EVER EAT A TOMATO.

I recently bought Julian Jackson's work about Charles De Gaulle.
The US version is simply titled "De Gaulle" while the UK edition is titled "A Certain Idea Of France: The Life of Charles De Gaulle"
I live in the US but found a better deal on the UK edition somehow.

When it comes to book titles in the US, sex and sensationalism do sell.
