And meaning from taxiing to the runway to arriving at the gate. I used to love it, now I'm kinda neutral about it.

depending on the situation/what happens mid flight -- love it. idk what is going on but I think far too many flights I have been on have been fully booked. I understand when everyone wants to fly to wherever but when someone is having a bathroom emergency they don't have time to waste waddling back to their seat just so that the asshole in the bathroom beforehand [who pushed you out of the way!] gets out [they insist you remain seated at all times and no waiting for the bathroom no matter what emergency you are facing] only to go waddling back to the restroom only to have to do it all over again because of asshole number 2! the sad thing was, as I was pleading with them to pull out the jump seat where the flight attendants sit during take off, the other people were tsking and all sorts of shit. I felt like proving to them what bathroom emergencies really mean and just shit right there.

Thus far, no problems while in the air.
However, getting to and from airports, airports themselves, flight cancelations, re-routings, and waiting on the tarmac had kept me off airplanes for 9 years until this last trip to NYC that I just got back from.

I love it. I've been lucky enough to where my only bad eperiences have been delays. My favorite part is on takeoff when the jet accelerates. You can feel the power of engines strong enough to lift something that heavy off the ground.
When I was little my dad was in a flying club and he would take me up in a Cessna. I loved it except when he sharply banked the plane, it really scared me to look straight down at the ground. I was afraid of falling out. He tried to convince me that I couldn't open the door even if I wanted. But you try telling that to a five-year-old.

Like it. I've no issue with the mode of flying. It's the heard of weird ppl to cope with, the hurrying up to wait for things prior & after, & plane all around nuisance of it which turns me off.
I read a great tell-all book from a captain (aka pilot) discussing many things including myths that many casual flyers worry about. Namely turbulence & watching the wings bounce around... which is exactly what they're engineered to do. Also being up in the air as if fuel will run out... which is ludicrous for most all major carriers because for every destination airport there's dozens of alternate airports to land should the urgency require - which usually does not, unless it's a TMZ story of a violent passenger or false passenger on the wrong flight, etc. The Hollywood dire nature of flying simply does not portend to reality. Flying is so incredibly safe compared to ground travel, it's not even close.

Don't really mind. I just think the security checking point is annoying and too much of a hassle.

Hate it. I vowed to never fly again after 9/11 but had to last year for work. My anxiety was through the roof the whole time.
