I'm not really promoting FilmStruck but this is impressive.
There was a huge number of Max von Sydow movies recently added too, but they were mostly in Swedish

I haven,t gotten to the James Mason films yet. I have bee too busy watching the GreggToland films. It had been a very long time since I had seen BELOVED ENEMY with Brian Aherne.
FilmStruck has been a lifesaver for me. The nursing home cable was so bad, I finally bought an antenna to get broadcast channels so I could watch MeTV and the new one, StartTV. I can someti,es Get Movie! But reception has a lot to do on if the trash trucks are in the parking lot. The WiFi is not very good, but I can sometimes get trough a movie without interruption.
Three years of confinement has me very depressed at times, but if I can watch a great film, the day is better. At$99 a year, that is a great deal for happiness.

They are good with classifying movies by director too. I hope that once they put something up, they will keep it. I guess that it is a creation of TCM and Criterion. and one can hope that they will keep adding things from the Criterion Collection. I have found things on FilmStruck that are totally new to me, Under the Group about Colonialism, I recently saw this movie which was a great surprise to me--and with a good cast. Subscribing to a service for a year is sort of like joining the gym: Once you join, you feel like you should watch as much as possible because you paid for it. Here is another movie I found on FilmStruk works written by Ira Levin

LOL James Mason's comments about Raquel Welch when making Last of Sheila:
"the most selfish, ill-mannered, inconsiderate actress that I have ever had the displeasure of working with".
His role in GENGHIS KHAN is amusing. Quite an uninhibited performance.
I watched PRINCE VALIANT recently and he was playing the Darth Vader part! That duel with the singing sword was really neat.
I want to see a 1936 James Mason film-its a quota quickie. Too lazy to check the name.
