Any fans of the TV show "Frasier"? How has it held up for you after 25 years?
Still a terrific show with wonderful performances and sharp writing. Even side characters like Gil and Bulldog were always fun to watch. Not a perfect show (should have ended around Season 8 and Niles and Daphne should have gotten together in the last episode), but even the show at its worst is better than some shows at its best. Thankfully, it never really jumped the shark. Even the worst years of the show were still watchable (seasons 9-11). Anyways, I still watch reruns to this day and find the episodes hold up very well. A rare TV spinoff that worked.

My favourite sitcom. I own the entire series on DVD, although I haven't rewatched it in a while, except for one episode in honour of John Mahoney when he died.

My favorite sitcom as wellβbut calling it a βsitcomβ may not even do it justice, because itβs in a completely different league from any other (except Seinfeld). The writing and acting are just brilliant. Offhand, βTravels with Martin,β βThe Matchmaker,β βThe Candidate,β βThe Innkeepers,β βThe Impossible Dream,β and especially βThe Ski Lodgeβ all come to mind as the cream of the crop, but there are so many other superb ones.
Typically weird Salzmank story:
I had a co-worker once who acted just like Frasier and Nilesβto the point that it was genuinely hilarious. We were passing a chain-restaurant called βLe pain quotidienβ (βthe Daily Bread,β after the Lordβs Prayer), and, as I knew that both he and I spoke French, I said, βHuh. βLe pain quotidien.β Seems kind of Frasier-esque.β βFrasier?β says my co-worker. βThatβs my favorite show!β
And I was thinking, Of course it is, pal. Of course it is.

agree with the op. love the show and while i feel it went βout of styleβ by now, i think it kept its smarts and entertainment value certainly the first 5 or so seasons.
i am actually rewatching it these days and still really liking it.
RIP John Mahoney.

Niles and the Flour baby.
Niles and preparing for a date at Frasier's apartment.
Niles and the heated shave foam.
Niles and the hatchback.
Niles and the Segway.

Big time fan here. Liked it more than Seinfeld or Friends.

I prefer the Frasier Crane from Cheers.
And I much prefer Seinfeld!

Just rewatched an early season episode where Frasier is setting up Tom with Daphne, while Tom is interested in dating Frasier. Great episode but what always gets me is Martin roaring with laughter when Niles tells him. Incredible acting.

I spent the last 7 hours warching Frasier back to back. The show is so well written its crazy. And the physical acting especially of David Hyde Pierce is so masterful.
I mean a lot of the jokes wouldnt fly in todays world and Frasier would be labeled a sex offender etc, but its sich a well made show that I hope people will neber try to put it through the over the top PC grinder of todays views on what should and should not be in media...

Rewatching all of Frasier for like the 3rd time in a row thismonth
s3 e11 is simply epic.
βi believe in strangness of strangersβ βhow did u come up with such disgusting image?β - βmeet Garth from Tacomaβ
had me laughing out loud.
and boy do I wish I had a brother like Niles. I love their bond with Frasier.
The show appears quite sexist and all from today view but its still a very clever and well done show Just from a diff time..

Solid.
Cliff Clavin should have been cast as his mailman.

I liked the first couple of seasons best. My favourite ep isode is the one where Niles thinks.Maris is having an affair with her fencing teacher. It was less amusing after Niles and Maris seperated.
