Another vastly inferior remake of a classic A-horror film 🤦
3/10

Never saw it, but if Jennifer Connolly is in a wet shirt at some point I'd probably find it worth watching.

Nah, this is a good one. Nice atmosphere and creepy tension. Worth at least a 6/10.

Disagree. Walter Salles is no slouch as a director and attends to business with meticulous care and mastery. Unfortunately, in light of the original, it all seems a tad pointless. 5/10.

I didn't even know it was a remake, but yeah, it was not a great horror film. Jennifer Connelly was really good in it, though. I give it a 5/10.

I didn't think it was that bad. It wasn't perfect but after re-watching it a few months ago I thought it was okay. To me 'The Ring'with Naomi Watts will always be the best remake of a Japanese Horror movie though and is one of my favs.

Creepy and good atmosphere in the rundown apartments and the non-stop rain. I liked John C Reilly as the slumlord type. I thought he was hilarious showing the apartment as if it was a penthouse suite or something. 7/10
