can you imagine if Sanders played behind some of those Emmitt Smith Cowboy's O-Lines?
guy was a magician back there - if he had some semi decent O-Lines I don't even think there'd ever be any debate at all on whether the GOAT was :
Smith or Sanders
I'd put 'Sweetness' around 15 or so

I always thought Sanders was clearly the better back. Smith was very good, but Sanders was incredible.

Very interesting voting thus far folks In a 10 game playoff - anyone think it may come down to coaching? We're not talking one game here. Who do you go with to make adjustments throughout the playoff and who is the better coach? Belichick or Ditka? The Bears still have to score points to win the game. Defeated Marshall Faulk, Marshawn Lynch... Da Bears didn't need to score much points to win. Both of their NFC playoff games were shutouts and they only gave up 10 points in the Super Bowl. Considering that the 18*-0 highest-scoring offense in NFL history at that point managed only 14 points against a defense ranked #17 in the NFL (ranked in the lower half of the NFL), it's very likely that Shady Brady and the Pats would get shut out by Da Bears' dominating defense.
And the Pats defeated Marshall Faulk by cheating with Spygate. And the Pats didn't defeat Marshawn Lynch. Pete Carroll did that by choosing not to give Marshawn Lynch the ball at the 1-yard line. If Pete Carroll had given Marshawn Lynch the ball, then Marshawn Lynch would've ran over the Pats' defense and would've been celebrating in the end zone.
Da Bears would sweep Shady Brady and the Pats.

This has been discussed before. The ‘85 Bears players simply could not compete with today’s superior athletes. They would be middle of the pack in the current NFL, at best.
Plus, the ‘85 Bears were really just a one hit wonder. There is no reason to think they could duplicate that success today, when they couldn’t even do it back then. The Patriots have been the NFL powerhouse for nearly two decades, the gatekeeper to a World Championship. You want a ring? You have to get past the Patriots first. Most fail.
I’m in a generous mood ... I’ll give the Bear 2 games out of 10.
