I personally felt the film was very well done and had some of the best acting to come out of a Marvel film. Kilmonger was easily one of the better villains, with an actual motive and reason to be angry and hurt. Chadwick Boseman was fantastic as BP and is very genuine and kind in the role. But my favorites of the film are his main ladies... Shuri, Nakia and Okoye.
I love that this film, unlike most of the other Marvel films, made many of the women badass and strong. If you notice, during the final battle, everyone on Black Panthers side female (until M'Baku shows up) while everyone on Kilmongers are male. I am a big fan of Lupita and thought she was fantastic in this film.
I loved that this movie felt almost like a Spy Thriller (at least for the first half)... it was fun to watch.
I know a lot of people like to shit on this movie now, but I honestly believe a lot of that resentment comes from how overhyped the film became and overpraised (or we can get into the racists that hated the movie even before it was released).
Anyway, solid movie. 9/10 for me. It would get higher if the pacing was more consistent.

Pretty solid. Had the near impossible task of meeting its own hype in the middle and it worked.
It didn't need Martin Freeman's character, but otherwise I thought it was terrific. Black Panther himself is likable, growing in maturity and ready for the throne. His sister's adorable and the next looming genius in the MCU. Lupita Nyong'O is great as both a character and for someone like Black Panther to aspire to be with without reducing her to love interest; Okoye is great. Michael B Jordon is believably threatening physically and emotionally. I liked Wakanda as well, I liked the backstory, and it was fun. It was nice to see a little more Andy Serkis too.
I'm not sure what I was expecting, but I was sure they had the right actor the moment he revealed himself in Civil War and he's only gotten stronger and wiser (character) with each passing film. I liked it.

Among the plethora of superhero movies in recent years, at least this seemed reasonably fresh and was a pleasant experience all round. Michael B. Jordan's character was genuinely intriguing and the wonderful costumes ensured there was always something to look at. I could have done without the unbearable Andy Serkis, but it outclasses most examples of its genre. 6/10

Very good, though like most MCU titles, the lack of credible villain/antagonist left me waning. It's in with Winter Soldier, both just outside my fav MCU titles.

It's pretty dull for about the first 35min but after that it's more watchable. overall it's not a movie that ill re-watch.
4.5-5/10 (Thumbs Down) ; basically it's a weak average overall.

It's the best of the MCU movies I've seen to date. Really enjoyed the world-building that went into the film and it possessed a memorable - frankly tragic - villain in Killmonger. Neat soundtrack too. The fact that the movie tackled some pretty heavy themes (race war, political legitimacy) made it stand out even more from the other films in this franchise. In short, a fantastic watch. I rate it 10/10.

Very good, but a bit forgettable. Love Killmonger and the set pieces.

I loved it as well. One of the best solo installments since Phase 1. It felt like the comic book movies from the 2000s. The better ones like the first two Raimi Spider-Man movies, Hellboy, and some of Batman Begins.

Honestly kind of run of the mill Marvel at this point. Visually cool, nothing terribly wrong with any of the characters, a few cool moments but hardly any worth remembering. The most memorable moment to me was the guys riding rhinos into battle. I thought that was awesome. Outside of that...just good.
