I liked it a lot, a very underrated horror/thriller in my opinion. Plus seeing Ann-Margret topless didn't hurt.

I think it's quite good. Hopkins is brilliant in it and Meredith and Ann-Margret are really good too.

Very good movie, plenty of suspense. Need to give it another watch sometime, it's been a while.

A nicely chilling, and isolated psychological horror. Hopkins is great, and his scenes with Fats are thoroughly engaging with all the underlining tension. The scene where Meredith’s character confronts his client about his behaviour is what always sticks out for me when thinking of this film.

I have not see this (maybe I will check it this October) but I remember it heavily advertised (and FADE TO BLACK-remember that one?).

I thought it was a pretty good psychological thriller. It's creepy as hell and Hopkins was top-notch.

Dim, which after a promising start, bogs down in tedious psychodrama and a thankless role for Ann-Margret. 4/10

The creepiest part was Ann-Margaret's voice at the very end.

The creepiest part was Ann-Margaret's voice at the very end. I think people make way too much of that. She was just teasing Corky (who at that point she assumed was still alive) by trying to talk a little bit like his dummy. I think the creepy aspect was the fact that she was about to discover that Corky (and the husband sooner or later) were both dead for reasons unbeknownst to her.

There are a couple of Twilight Zone episodes where a dummy comes to life and those are good.

There are a couple of Twilight Zone episodes where a dummy comes to life and those are good. An idea originally from British horror anthology the dead of night (1945), the segment "the ventriloquist's dummy".

I just finished watching it. Solid flick I must say. It was surprisingly very creepy and all the actors were believable in their roles, esp Hopkins.
