The film that haunted me early years. Not a particularly great film but still plenty of decent moments. I think I actually prefer Child's Play 2 overall. Brad Dourif is both hilarious and horrifying in his signature role. I did wish the film played more the idea of whether or not it was actually Andy who was the killer. It is a great moment when the chick from Star Trek IV discovers Chucky has no batteries.

It is hard to believe it is that old but what is interesting with the 'Child's Play' franchise is it is the longest running Horror movie franchise to still be going in the original continuity (possibly the longest running movie franchise in any genre apart from James Bond to be doing this) and even though we are getting a remake from MGM we are getting a TV show that takes place straight after the last movie and has Andy and Kyle back.

One of my favourites. I love how it has a more dreadful tone than its sequels, and Chucky might be at his scariest. Although, I actually prefer the 6th film for being a bit darker.
Regardless, it’s a true horror classic and no other killer doll movie has even come close to this level of pure quality horror.

The first is still the best one IMO, but I do love the second one. The third is still really fun, but it started to get campy. I was not a fan of Bride or Seed at all, but actually really enjoyed the two new ones. The remake looks pretty great so far actually.
