I’m sick of all these rumors and uncertainties.

I'm in for Reeve's Batfleck as Mr Reeves is a genius and Batfleck is a lot better than anybody could have hoped for. But realistically speaking, Affleck has bigger issues he must tend to, and he is really afraid of being typecast into a B-movie corner. He is right, great artists do not repeat themselves.

He should leave and move on. Save this Superhero shit for people who need a career. Ben directed better movies anyway.

What I hope ideally: That he's meeting with them to discuss when they heck they start filming with he and Reeves, and get THE BATMAN in the can, then to theatres. And that they are working to make sure it is done in a way that doesn't frustrate his Sober Road.
What I think is most-likely: They are meeting with him about his being in the next LEAGUE movie, but otherwise he's being told they are going with a new, probably younger actor for a whole revamped Batman story like BATMAN: YEAR ONE or something like that. Perhaps they will invite him to be a producer or something of the sort, just not the guy in the cowl & cape.
What I fear: They are just firing him politely behind closed doors, and making him sign some paper informing him that he must act happy and tell reporters/fans/etc. that it was a mutual decision to part ways, that he wishes DC/etc. the best of luck, and he's looking forward to being free to make choices about what projects he wants next, when they actually just don't want him to be their Batman anymore.
