Oh, this is a great topic and I'm going to give it some thought and come back a little while later.

Two that comes to mind are Anna Kendrick and Chris Evans. Anna just seems like a total sweetheart and with her personality it really makes me believe that she's amazing. Chris Evans for a big of a star that he is, still seems super down to earth and happy to talk sports and take pictures with fans.

I'm one of those who pretty much assumes you're not seeing an actor's 'real' personality onscreen or in person. They act. I doubt it's possible to know much about their genuine personalities unless you're an intimate or a co-worker.

I met Ian Ziering (actor who played Steve Sanders in the original 90210) back in 2000. He was very gracious & friendly (he shook my hand). Whether he is like that normally, or just when he gets to meet & greet fans (I didn't meet him at a fan expo or anything like that; he came to see a basketball game), I don't know.

There is that to be said for the stars who at least act friendly and gracious in person, whatever they might actually be like otherwise; some make no effort to even put up a front, and are just surly and unpleasant. I don't feel that a celebrity 'owes' their fans anything, but I can't see how they think a nasty demeanor makes them more appealing to their followers--and they should at least have the courtesy to recognize the fact that their fans do have something to do with their fame.

Yes definitely.
