Not saying Cyborg's CGI is horrible, but it is noticeable. James Cameron tho manage to make a more convincing human-cyborg with makeup and prosthetics and a shoestring budget. There's no reason why Snyder couldn't have done the same thing

If I recall, didn't cyborg have at least one full arm still? Regardless, obviously it can't be a 100% makeup and prosthetics, but it shouldn't be a 100% CGI either. I think you can strike a good balance between it, but most of it as much practical and makeup as you can

I think you can strike a good balance between it, but most of it as much practical and makeup as you can well the percentage of human and robot varies, but it has leaned towards more robot than humans over the years. and I think what they wanted to go for a more alien/robot look, rather than armor plating aesthetic.

When he is flying, and his mask closes, he looks exactly like IRON MAN.

I don't expect them to go Robocop but if they can do such a convincing Chappie they can do better than this.

That's what I don't get. Why not go with prosthetics and makeup instead for Cyborg?
