That day ain't come yet and I wish the western people took comics book stories less seriously and hold their fantasies in check. Just slightly less stupid than niburu stuff.

They can write that on your tombstone fifty years from now when you die peacefully in bed with your boots off. Me, I'm not going out that easily. It's like....destiny....or something. Pardon me if my barbaric Western mind has difficulty in describing it.

In fact I was trying to say that people dismiss your case of "niburu" as foolish but themselves present beliefs that have no evidence. There is absolutely no reason to be alarmed of "killer robots" as of yet. The same fear was mongered about computers 30 years back. When there will be evidence that robots are threat to humanity then it will make sense to consider them a danger for mankind. Right now it is just imaginative thinking and no more.

I'll let you know if I'm ever offended. Look, I'm not a great fan of dividavi, and his opinion of me is probably even lower, what with me being a "goy" and all, but I think he is on to something here. As for Nibiru, I have promised not to discuss it on this board anymore.

My thinking is like this: Has any robot ever been known to present a situation that has significantly threatened human beings? I don't think so. I do be thankful if someone corrects me.

That said if we take robots as machines then yes the refinement and advancement of robots might present danger to jobs of people in certain sectors.

That said if we take robots as machines then yes the refinement and advancement of robots might present danger to jobs of people in certain sectors. A claim that has been true since humanity invented tools. The invention of gun powder made people in the bow and arrow business lose their jobs. The invention of trains and cars made people in the horse carriage business lose their jobs. The invention of renewable energy collection makes coal miners lose their jobs. But everytime, other jobs were created. And will be created. I'm not losing sleep over computers and robots becoming more sophisticated. In fact, I'm sort of looking forward to it.
