Lots of contenders.
HIGH FIDELITY is supposed to be a comedy, I hear. You wouldn't know it by trying to stay awake through this pile of manure.
CLICK lost it when a guy making a good salary, with lots of resources, a gorgeous babe for a wife, a family, a nice home, influence, and he wants to fast forward to old age? No one but a millionaire could buy into that. Just lost all potential for comedy.
HAPPY GILMORE had nothing funny in it.
But the absolute worst, most un-funny, least inspired alleged comedy ever was THE ADVENTURES OF FORD FAIRLANE or Fairmont or Fair something.

I do not watch a lot of comedy, and when I do it's bona fide classics. But the most miserable, stupid, juvenile and lowbrow effort I had to sit through was Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2.

I’m that one guy who doesn’t like Airplane! It’s not the worst comedy I’ve ever seen, but it’s down there. Preemptive sorry to its legions of fans. Second guy.

My worst 10. 10.Phat Girlz 9. Disaster Movie 8. Jack and Jill 7. Adam and Eve 6. Pocket Ninjas 5. Bad Girls from Valley High 4. The Wild Women of Wongo 3. Crush on U 2. An American Carol 1. Saving Christmas (Not even sure if this counts as a comedy but either way its just beyond awful.) Apparently there was no script for christmas, everything was improvised as well.

Dumb and dumberer when Harry met Lloyd. that's the one I actually sat through from beginning to end. I'm pretty sure there's comedies out there I just stopped watching
Master of Disguise was not funny at all and pretty boring but I didn't find it as annoying as some of the other movies out there.

That explains the pauses and awkward silences when the characters are interacting. But the scenes that have Kirk doing odd monologues had to be pre written because no person can come up with the crazy crap he was talking about right away.

I avoid most stupid comedies (anything with Adam Sandler for example), so it's not easy for me to be caught completely by surprise and watch something genuinely bad (unless it is during a film festival, where there is little information about the movie). The one exception that comes to mind is Movie 43. I don't think I had seen previews, it had a great cast, and I fell for it. God, that one was painful!

I don't care if it ruffles feathers, but The Hangover is so bad that everyone involved should have been barred for life from making any more movies.

Even if you don't care for Airplane!, there are so many parody movies that are far worse.

I was talking about Saving Christmas.

Oh yeah. Anything with "Tyler Perry" in the title.
I've only seen the Cinema Snob episode about Saving Christmas, but if that counts as a comedy then that might be the worst.

Dumb and Dumber To Nutty Professor II: The Klumps Bad Grandpa Jack and Jill Permanent Dirty Movie Epic Movie Disaster Movie Date Movie Superhero Movie I see a pattern here, I dont know why I've seen so many spoofs lol. Aaron Seltzer and Jason Friedberg are quite possibly the best directors of our generation. Did you just not get their jokes? I admit, it's pretty high concept art that takes multiple viewings to get. Disaster Movie in particular was a once-in-a-generation masterpiece.
I have seen it over 40 times, and each time I see subtleties and deep jokes I hadn't noticed before. Granted, their visual representation of Dada-ism is not for everyone, and that's okay. But that's the only reason the rich, warm-mongering film critics hate these films so much...because they are true films by the People against the "man".
Also, Aaron Setlzer and Jason Freidberg are actually just a Nom De Plum of Steven Sodabergh. He's too obvious with the name. Seltzer is a soda...and look at the end of "Friedberg".

Seth probably wanted to make sure that nobody left the theater thinking "I bought a ticket for a movie called Sausage Party, but where were the dick jokes? I was expecting dick jokes. "

He likes his dick jokes. A comedy special on Netflix from a while ago featured dick vaping.
