Joe Bob Briggs' defense of I Spit On Your Grave as a feminist movie

I thought this was trash even by exploitation movie standards and couldn't see the entertainment value in so much simulated rape. Still, he makes an interesting case. I didn't know that the director was inspired by a real life rape.

I disagree with him about the kind of people who'd cheer the brutal rape scenes at a grindhouse theater. Maybe some guys are posturing for the sake of seeming tough, but there are also guys who genuinely get off on watching women being raped and abused.
