Not since The Mailman took on The Worm at Bash At The Beach in 98 on WCW has there been anything remotely interesting about the NBA...until LA Clippers Owner Donald Sterling came along.
Now after these last 3 years of a ZZZZZZZZZZZZZ-fest, from the unlikely source, the NCAA men's hoops, we, the NBA viewing public, now have LaVar Ball-sack to look forward to, the father of Lonzo Ball, who should go in one of the first 3 picks.
I can't wait for the spectacle to take place and neither can Silver.

I hope Lonzo really does end up in L.A. The idea of dad LaVar being associated with that organization is pure lunacy heaven for us b-ball fans. And don't kid yourself, the NBA would want it, too.

All I want to do is be entertained (even if the individual entertaining me is a trainwreck) - and this guy entertains me.

All I want to do is be entertained (even if the individual entertaining me is a trainwreck) - and this guy entertains me. If you watch LaVar's appearance on that Stephen A. Smith show, LaVar specifically mentions entertainment. He said that's all that basketball is -- entertainment. He said you can go to the movies for two hours or watch a b-ball game. It's the same thing. LaVar got right something that 99% of the people involved in sports (including the fans) do not get. It is just an entertainment. And LaVar is doing his best to be an entertainer. I like coach Pop or Belichick, but they really are sh!theads when it comes to the understanding of sports. LaVar understands sports more than those Hall of Fame coaches do.
