The cover to Motorama tries to market the film as a cute love story between the main character and Drew Barrymore. Thank god that isn't what it is. I think she's only in the movie for a few seconds.

You mean that Near Dark isn't part of the Twilight franchise?

The widescreen VHS copy of Deliverance I owned included this picture on the back. Some research found it's from Dead Bang, an 1989 film starring Don Johnson and directed by John Frankenheimer.

Yeah, film companies will often redeisgn the cover art for a film if a relative unknown in the film becomes a star later on so it can get more attention. They did something similar with the first "Leprechaun" film (orignally Warwick Davis got top billing and was on the cover, later on Jennifer Aniston's name and image was the biggest thing on the cover)

This one is, I hope, intentionally funny.

The skull tattoo faced guy on the poster for 47 Ronin (2013) is onscreen for about ten seconds with one line of dialogue.

The trailer for Alien 3 said something like "On Earth everyone can hear you scream" even though the movie doesn't take place on Earth. I mean the trailer gives the impression that the movie takes place on Earth.

There are not any giant killer frogs in this movie.

The cover/poster for the 2014 movie Hercules, starring Dwayne Johnson, made it seem as if Irina Shayk (who played Megara, the wife of Hercules) would be the female lead of the movie. She wasn't. She's actually not in the movie much at all. On the bright side, the movie had Rebecca Ferguson in it and an awesome female character named Atalanta (played by Ingrid Bolsø Berdal).

Arnold's advertised as the main guy but is not in the film until 67 minutes in.

Every VHS and DVD that has a newer pic of Jack Nicholson and him as the main guy in Little Shop of Horrors.
