My favorite is The Dark Knight, but the best film (has the least flaws) is Batman Begins. Begins is also the best "pure Batman" movie of the three, but I think I like both TDK and TDKR a little more.

Batman Begins, because it's the only one not embarrassed at being a comic book movie.

onethreetwo ... thanks for your question. The great thing about rating films is nobody's taste is wrong. If I rated The Dark Knight Rises a 1 and hated it ... the film would still be loved by millions.
The Dark Knight Rises 8.5 Rating #63 All-Time - Entire IMDb World Rankings #52 All-Time - English Only IMDb World Rankings
31.1% (372,864 votes) 10 Rating 27.6% (330,086 votes) 09 Rating 22.4% (268,412 votes) 08 Rating
An IMDb review has been liked 670/1324 for having The Dark Knight Rises as the Best Movie Ever!
I am hardly the ONLY person who loves this movie. It is action packed and entertaining from start to finish ... the movie is almost 3 hours long and it NEVER gets boring ... there are tons of films that are 90 minutes long and are 30 minutes of fluff.
I have now seen 4,656 feature films ... 49 of them I rated a 10 (1%)
For Amusement Purposes ... Batman Begins. It's a terrific origin story for the character and it feels the most like a Batman movie out of the three.

Batman Begins is very good but some moments are kind of dull and some of the action is shot pretty poorly. And The Dark Knight Rises had some plot and story issues that doesn't make it quite the masterpiece it hoped to live up tp. The Dark Knight is the best of the trilogy for me.

I never entirely understood the people who prefer BB over TDK. BB is a strong origin story, but itβs a lot less refined than TDK in many respects.

Yeah, I enjoy it up until Bruce goes to prison and then it starts falling apart. I especially dislike the ending with that autopilot business.

Maybe, Dark Knight Returns and Knightfall/No Man's Land are a lot to cram into one movie. Though, as much as I like the first act, I think they could have skipped it since the whole "I got injured and retired but now I'm trying to be Batman again" plot is the exact same thing we get after Bane cracks his back. Just have him be an active Batman at the beginning and Bane take him out earlier, then they could have focused on him healing/training and Bane ruling the city without rushing it.

The Dark Knight RISES is the best Batman movie ever. From being at rock bottom, he single handedly stops a highly organised terrorist group lead by a formidable villain from nuking a whole city and killing millions. Dont get more heroic or comic booky than that when it comes to standalone Batman movies. There is only 1 blatant plot point thats poorly executed, and thats the scene where Blake tells Bruce he knows hes Batman, just from looking at his face. The rest of the so called plot holes are nitpicks that can easily be explained.
Begins is poorly shot. The last act in the narrows is way too dark visually, the camera is cutting so fast you cant make sense of whats happening.
The Dark Knight is good but not better than Rises. Rachel Dawes kills the movie for me. The recasting is really bad. And her character always feels too self important and smarmy. She feels like Bruces older bossier sister, not his love interest. And story wise theres zero chance she would choose Harvey Dent over Bruce, given the ending of Batman Begins.
