Oh shit yeah. Usually because they have stuffed something up big time and you just can't not report them because what they stuffed up requires me writing a report for. Not to mention they are putting their own jobs on the line if they genuinely don't know any better.
Reported an idiot last year because I was training him and he just kept behaving like a moron. Thinking we were best mates and arguing with me, being a general dip shit. It was increasing my stress levels and he was pissing everyone else off as well. It was good when he left.

Last week. Reported my immediate manager to the HR manager for emailing a questionnaire concerning me to a bunch of people without first discussing it with myself.

I thought I was the only one who used to work in a toxic environment. I hope HR is on your side. I eventually quit my job, my immediate manager was so unsuited to management.

I can honestly say I have never faced a situation where I had to report a co-worker to the manager. Well...not that I remember, anyway.
