I'm looking forward to the movie, don't get me wrong and I saw the trailer and it looks pretty good but it just doesn't look right without Superman and Green Lantern, two of the principal Justice League members.
When The Avengers came out they got it right because they had the main four iconic Avengers members Captain America, Thor, Hulk and Iron Man.
This movie comes across as though it's really missing something by not having two of the five main Justice League characters. Sure Superman might actually be in the movie somewhere but not seeing him in the trailers or the posters it just doesn't feel right. It shouldn't be this way for the first Justice League movie, I find it difficult to get too excited for it considered it's not a true Justice League lineup.
It's like if they made The Avengers but without Captain America and Iron Man.

TA was already missing two very important members. Ant-Man and Wasp were always established as core members of the team in the original comics. Also, the Hulk was only a member of the team for a couple of issues before going his separate way. He was more well known as a member of the Defenders, than the Avengers.

Both Superman and Captain America weren't founding members of their respective teams. And you have to blame Edgar Wright for sitting on his hands when it came to Ant-man when he was suppose to be in Avengers.

Yet here we are. It is what it is and perhaps the film will be fine but you're not wrong, it doesn't feel or look right.

The Avengers did lack Ant-man and Wasp but that wasn't nearly as significant a loss because they were never the most popular or well known of The Avengers lineup.
That was just like how the original X-men movie didn't have say Beast or Angel.
Justice League not having Superman and Green Lantern is more like if that original X-men movie didn't have Wolverine and Cyclops.
This shouldn't be a thing without Superman front and center.

I agree. Superman and Green Lantern need to be there. It's also bothering me that Cyborg is there. I just don't him being there. But the movie needs Superman at least...I know he'll be there but to the general public, it is looking like he won't be.
