Or I should say, I don't care for it one way or another. I eat when I'm hungry.
When I see and smell food, even things like cakes and pastries, I don't feel anything.
I've refused to join my family for dinner because because I wasn't hungry.
When I feel hungry, I know I have to eat, so I eat. But I eat enough so I'm not hungry, I never stuff myself.
Eating is a chore to me. Annoying.

I heard about it and it interests me. Tell me more. have you always been like this? Do you have no favorite foods? So you ever experience craving or munchies? you know not that u r hungry but would still like to eat something.
and when you do eat something u recognize as tasty, does it really bring you no pleasure other than not being jungey anymore?

There are two kinds of people when it comes to food. Some people live to eat. Others eat to live.I would say you fall into the latter.

Years ago Catman took a medication which induced a mild, constant nausea. About the only things that didn't make him violently ill were salad and cottage cheese.
Finally, Catman convinced his physician to change to a different medication which did not have that side effect. After a few days, he felt a funny sensation and realized to his amazement that he was hungry. He could even eat pizza again!
To this day, he still likes salad and cottage cheese.

Schwarzwald MagnusIs this recent or a forever thing ? You might have some sort of low grade something or other that is affecting your sense of smell and thus your appetite. Same thing happens with cats I hear tell.

As long as you eat enough to sustain yourself, that's all you need to worry about.

There is more to appetite than just sustaining life … it might be best if the OP mentions it to someone medical (if he has not already done so). Bodies are normally programmed to have some reaction to food other than a mere "it's time to eat because my stomach is rumbling"

I feel more or less the same, eating is something you have to do to survive, that takes up time I'd rather spend doing something else. There are foods I enjoy but I rarely get "excited" about eating. I do like coffee, If I could survive on that I would.

Well just eat/don't eat whenever you want.
