Awesome list hardball. I totally forgot about the Eagles, U2, Spandau Ballet, America and the Cure but would have named them if I had made my list longer. It is nice to see another America fan by the way and I was wondering if you have heard their album, 'Human Nature?' That is one of my favourite albums and I love 'Wednesday Morning', 'Moment to Moment', 'Overwhelming World' and 'From A Moving Train.' I haven't caught up on America's later work. I sm more familiar with their albums and songs from the 70s like Sandman, Tin Man, A Horse with No Name and Ventura Highway. Has their musical style changed? Ooh okay. You really should 'cause some of their later albums are really good and their musical style has slightly changed over the years and they still record songs that sound like their older material but also record songs that are very different. One of their newer albums ('Here and Now') had Ryan Adams, Ben Kweller, Stephen Bishop and members of My Morning Jacket, Nada Surf and Smashing Pumpkins on it and I liked that album but these are three songs you should check out.
