Strangers on a Train and Shadow of a Doubt are two for me.

none. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't rewatch it.

I had a hard time watching Barry Lyndon the first time. Now I love everything about that film.

I don't know what it is about John Huston and Humphrey Bogart...
Beat the Devil - It took me three tries to be able to really get this film's tongue-in-cheek sense of antic mischief; the third time was literally the charm, for that's exactly what I finally saw in it that I'd missed before. This was one of those times that persistence paid off.
The Maltese Falcon - I'd never actually disliked it, but it was only after several viewings that I warmed to its richly-layered characters and plotting. There's a sense of fun in this one too, but of a nature different from that of the film above, coming rather from the elegant gamesmanship of the primary characters as they try to out-guess and outsmart one another.
The Treasure Of the Sierra Madre - While I recognize its quality, this is one that hasn't yet fully won me over...but I'm still workin' on it. As is the case with all these films, they're exactly the same as they were the first time I saw them, so whatever changes that have allowed appreciation are those that have taken place within me. I've no idea what they've been, but the one that would enable me to take this film to heart apparently just hasn't occurred yet.
To be fair to both Huston and Bogart, Across the Pacific, Key Largo and The African Queen are ones for which I've always had great affection from the very first viewings. Go figure.
On a related note, I gave To Have and Have Not another try a few weeks ago, but I remain only ho-hum about it, still much preferring Bogie and Bacall's other Howard Hawks teaming, The Big Sleep.

Another one that I was initially disappointed with was "Mark of the Vampire" with Lugosi and Lionel Barrymore. However, on subsequent views, I have come to appreciate this cinematic marvel.
