Just watched the latest BBT episode, so if you haven't seen it and care, read no further.
Why the hell would they say those things about Raj to his fiancee? It simply went too far. They watch him suffer and be lonely for years, they both KNOW he is a really good guy, not to mention successful, financially independent, and reliable, and they wouldn't happily say all that to her, instead of all the "funny" (and by that I mean bitchy, mean and irrelevant) things? yeah yeah they were drunk but not THAT drunk. Way to attack a guy for being sensitive too. Gee.
I see where the writers were going with it, but that made the two just awful human beings. If my close friends had done something like this to me, especially if I was as stand up as Raj is, I would be done with them for good.
I hate that the show presents Raj, the good looking, smart, funny, loyal, kind and successful astrophysicist as someone so utterly hopeless and odd. For liking "feminine stuff".
