A movie about an unpopular Presidency? Did Hollywood not learn their lessons with Nixon (1995) and W (2008)? I predict a bomb.

I recently watched a film with Jody Foster...it was entitled "Hotel Artemis" and I couldn't believe my eyes...she appeared to be a little old lady. Time waits for no one...!!!

Heck, it's not even about the presidency, it's about the vice presidency! I guess Hollywood really, really, really hated the Bush administration. Maybe even worse than Trump! Talk about a film that is way late to the party. What's next, a film about Spiro Agnew?

Yes, that is Christian Bale.
Wow, that's astounding! He's barely recognisable.
I am not a big fan of casting well-known actors and then applying so much face prosthetics that you can't even tell who's under there. I am sure there are other actors just as good as Christian Bale who could play a convincing Dick Cheney without needing a freaking mask!

Just get Andy Serkis to do another motion capture performance.

I don't think that too many people care that much about Cheney anymore except for Vice Presidential historians. The administration is in that gray area of not being old enough for a lot of true historical research (lots of it is still classified) but old enough that regular folk don't care anymore.

Personally I thought it started well but soon fell into cliches and the story went in so many directions it lost itself. In other words, nice concept but poor execution.

What's next, a film about Spiro Agnew? There's still time! Chris Cooper is still alive.
