Teddy, whom I remember, died in 1995 when I was 5 and he was 18.
Smokey is about 17 1/2 and if he's still alive next April, he will be 18.

Before Freddy the Pomeranian, who died young earlier this year, his predecessor was Teddy the Pomeranian.
He lived to be over 16.
I hope Smokey still has many years left ahead of him.

Long live Smokey
How come people never say "Long live <insert name or title>" anymore? is it too much of a hitlerish thing to say now? If i said "Long live Trump", would I appear as a crazxy bigot?
