I think what would be more awesome is an army of E.T.'s from his space ship getting attacked by a Predator. Or E.T.'s descending on Predator's planet for an assault. Who knew the E.T.'s were belligerent? EDIT: Someone has the same idea....  |

These movies are completely different so it’s hard to compare. I’ll go with E.T. but both are great.

I would have to say 'E.T.' but I liked both and find them hard to compare to each other outside of the movies both having aliens in them.

Ya know, I wasn't all that impressed with Predator at the time, although I watched all the sequels and liked them. Didn't hate it, just didn't get all the fuss. I should rewatch it sometime.
E.T. was simply a milestone in my youth and a phenomenon worldwide. You had to live through it to know. I went to a matinee on Saturday, and was back to see it again the next day. The only time I did that was with the original Star Wars.
As for who would win in a fight, E.T. would poke Predator's eyes out with that long finger of his and stomp his head.
