Mine is probably dancing in my toddler crib to "Crocodile Rock". I guess I would have been three.

When I was about 2 or 3... I had gotten sick and had to have surgery on my foot to drain an infection...
I remember being in a common area at the hospital, and someone on the hospital staff brought in a TV on a roll-able cart for me to watch... I also remember looking out a window at the hospital and seeing light snow covering the town and the terrain.

My earliest memories are extremely unpleasant. I would not recount them. I am one of those who are cursed with memories before the age of three. Most people cannot believe me when I say that, but here is a thread to post to. I will be interested to read how many posts deny my veracity.

It may not be my earliest memory, but if not I can’t think of another one offhand (so maybe it is? I dunno). Anyway, I had to be 2 or 3, and I was watching some silly kids’ show with animated characters, etc. My parents were out of the house, and my grandmother and had come over to watch me for the night. She was in the kitchen cleaning the dishes as I watched the show. Just then, the show ended, and what also ended was whatever bloc of kids’ programming that was on. The teen programs were starting (I think). I was oblivious to this and kept watching, and something really scary and awful came on—I don’t know what it is, and I only have the memory of a bunch of teenagers (I guess) sitting around a fountain. I know, not scary, but something else happened in the show, and I just can’t remember what. But I do remember that it was something that terrified little 2/3 year old me, and my grandma came over and shut the TV off, and I had to go take a bath. And I remember being very scared in the bathtub and not wanting my grandma to leave because I was afraid that the scary whateveritwas from the TV was going to come and get me. Lordy. The way I say it, it sounds like something for therapy! But I remember that whole thing as clear as day.

I have always been curious to know if it is possible that any person has ever been able to remember being in their mother's womb. That would be very interesting.

I have a couple of early memories, but I'm not sure which order they come in. Most of them come from before I could walk...
In one, I'm lying on my side in my cot, while mum pulls the blanket up and I'm starting to go off to sleep.
In another, I'm crawling out of the lounge into the kitchen area and I look up to see my father walking down the hallway, away from me, towards the main bedroom.
In yet another, I was lying in my parents' bed with my father, after dark, watching a thunder and lightning storm outside, waiting for mum to come home from work.
I also remember an early dream. I woke up in my parents' bed in the middle of the night. They were both asleep with their backs turned to me. There was a very strong and focused light shinning on me from above and there was a very thin and tall palm tree growing out of the centre of the bed.

When I was 3 or 4 my parents had the second floor finished into 3 bedrooms and a bath for the growing family. The carpenter, a friend of the family joking threatened to cut my ear off if I got to close as he was worhing on finishing the cabinets in the bathroom. I quickly back into my mothers arms, both laughed. By the way I bought this house back in 87 and have lived here all but 10 years of my 61 years of life.

I can remember the earliest movies I saw in the theater. Back in 1989 I remember my family seeing Batman, Back to the Future II, Ghostbusters II, and Star Trek V.
