It's 1982 and I'm just out of school in the UK and my parents - obviously up to no good - shoo myself and my brother off to the pictures on a Sunday. It was The Kings Cinema in West Bromwich, England, and Friday the 13th Part III - 3D ended up being the film of choice. Up until just now I hadn't seen the film since back then, but every single moment of that film, the atmosphere and fun generated in the theatre, stayed with me. Harpoon, eyeballs and hot pokers I remembered vividly thrust out the screen, good times. Watching it now I have to say how much I still enjoyed it. Not a great entry in the series - if we dissect it from writing and various film making points of view - yet the nostalgia factor really helped me to have a great time with the film some 36 years after the first time I saw it. So was wondering what was your first Horror 3D experience, what, where, when? Oh and of course any thoughts on Friday III welcomed even if I imagine you lot have talked plenty about it before.

I believe it was when a local TV station broadcast a cheap b&w movie that was given a 3d treatment. Glasses were made available at local convenience stores.

My Bloody Valentine 3D. Friday 3, Freddy's Dead, Jaws 3 and the like were before my time so I had to see them in 2D.

Mine was Jaws 3D. The 3D was shitty and the movie itself was shitty.
