From any country.. By the 80s, I think 99% of them got ridiculous, and just titilating audiences with violence and nudity, but with no meat and potatoes, and bad writing..
Some good ones I first think of.. -The Collector (Wyler) as well as a few Japanese movies, "Blind Beast", "The Insect Woman" "Pleasure of the Flesh"

The King of Comedy culminates in a kidnapping but isn't a kidnapping film.
