Hamburger: The Motion Picture is one of the few starring roles for Leigh McCloskey and it has Randi Brooks from C.H.I.P.S., a shame it's become a lost masterpiece of the 80's sex comedy era. Where the Boys Are '84 is much less sleazetastic than most of the movies it gets lumped in with, and it has a young hot Lisa Hartman. It features Russell Todd from Friday the 13th Part 2 as well. It was the first ever movie released by Tri-Star Pictures. From that list, besides Hot Dog...The Movie and Hamburger: The Motion Picture, I've only ever seen Where the Boys Are '84 and Stewardess School, which I can recall watching way too many times, it was one of the few VHS movies we had at our summer cottage.

I have "Hot Dog" on DVD too. I've been a Randi Brooks fan since "Wizards and Warriors" and "The Man With 2 Brains." "Hamburger" was dumb fun, but disappointing since Randi never gets nude. She wasn't in CHIPS, that was Randy Oaks.

Wendy Schaal's in this movie. She made some great movies back in the '80s.

I assume you're referring to an "official" release on dvd......but if you're at all interested, I've found at least two sources for 'gray market' copies of Hamburger: The Motion Picture (1986): And while I've NO doubt this is just the tip of the iceberg (meaning, if you're truly interested and do just a little digging, I'm guessing copies like these can be found in many other places, too), just keep this in mind.....these are basically 'homemade' copies recorded from broadcast/cable/other sources (in most cases), so quality can (and many times does) vary wildly! SAVE FERRISThanks for the info. A few years back, a company like Anchor Bay might have picked up some of these movies for distribution. Hopefully a company like Shout Factory might look into some of these titles for official releases.
I think David DeCoteau's 'The Girl I Want' and Richard Gabai's 'Virgin High' are tied up in legal issues, perhaps to do with who owns the rights.

Anybody remember "Lovelines"(1984) co-starring Michael Winslow from "Police Academy" and Miguel Ferrer from Robocop playing drums in a punk band?

They should stick this one on dvd too. It is on DVD and Bluray. Another crazy thing about this movie is they somehow were allowed to use John Williams' "Indiana Jones theme" during this wacky fight scene.

I have the director Rod Amateau's teen movie 'The Seniors' (1978) on dvd.
