www.imdb.com/title/tt5629964/referenceGranted I wasn't expecting much, but this really was a case of showing promise in early stages only to sink beyond trace at the midpoint. I'm not a hard core horror film fan, but it feels to me we are in a time where there's just way too many conduit demons or evil spirits being called into the real world for cinematic thrills. I could be jaded by it? Or maybe this wasn't helped by the fact I had just watched - and enjoyed a lot - Pyewacket. The flipping Midnight Man of the title stopped being scary once revealed, with his papier-mΓ’chΓ© head and poorly painted eyes, and yet they kept showing him. I hope Robert Englund was able to buy a new car with his appearance fee from this one. Yours Bloody Annoyed

Sounds bad. The weird thing is, if I hear a negative review, it makes me want to see it even more. I'm odd that way.

We all have films that were panned by critics and hated by friends, yet for the individual it worked just fine.

A lot of times I end up affirming the bad review I saw, but other times I see a bad review and the movie is bad in a fun way.
