Not really. Kids go to the mall. Malls are disappearing all over America (The world?)... Where are they going to go when they are all closed?

It is still quite the event in my area. We often have chili on the porch with friends, the spiked cider flows (to adults only) and we get at least 100 kids coming by. The others that come to the porch often bring their own candy to hand out.
Years ago, I lived in the very small town I grew up in, but that section of the county would bring their kids to the old street I lived on because it was the "good candy" street, and one year we had 300+! I went to the local drug store when we ran out of candy, and all they had left was Werther's Hard Caramels, lol. I had to finally turn off the light when that was gone.
That street still gets the crowds today.

It happens in a small amount in the area I live, but there are kids here and there in the surrounding area.

Remember ads on tv warning kids to be careful at night when trick or treating to avoid cars.

My kids are already geared up for it. It's still very much a tradition in my area. I think behind Christmas it's their favorite holiday.
