5/10 Weird but pretty amusing.Pretty much sums up how I feel for the film too. Somehow, as a kid, you got this mixed up with a few other late and weird gothic/circus show looking 80s and early 90s horror-comedies, like Beetlejuice, The Addams Family and such. But of course, ridiculous to look back on now, still, I was just a little kid, and probably never saw the other mentioned films, all the way through. Still, Nothing But Trouble seemed to show up, like, always back in the 90s. And so one thought it had to be a very popular movie at the time. Turned out, it was not. But I am surely not alone, on maybe having some nostalgic feelings (good or bad), which make up for the lesser quality of the film. Also, as a huge fan of John Candy, so of course I had to pick it up much later (twice on DVD, not sure I will end up with yet another, even if the Blu-ray looks kind of neat), and yeah, 5/10 is where I feel it lies. Some absolute horrible stuff, but also some scenes that are so wild and crazy or just memorable, then some are, well, eating sausages while watching Dan and his dicknose stuff his face into nasty looking food, that is quite a disturbing and gross out scene to behold, even now.
