Only heard of this "Raw". That one's definitely a lot funnier.
The Raw I posted of is a horror movie of sorts wherein a first year veterinary student and lifelong vegetarian discovers a taste for human flesh. It's a good one.

the French one? I liked it, good atmosphere and allegory. Not very horror film like, more drama camouflaged as horror.

Yup, and it's one of the most tedious and disgusting movies I have ever seen.
I HATE almost every minute of it
Does the movie have something to say? Sure, but that doesn't make it a good movie. The viewer needs to be able to get through the movie and not want to vomit while watching it. I had a very hard time finishing this movie.

Yup, and it's one of the most tedious and disgusting movies I have ever seen. I HATE almost every minute of it Does the movie have something to say? Sure, but that doesn't make it a good movie. The viewer needs to be able to get through the movie and not want to vomit while watching it. I had a very hard time finishing this movie. Oddly enough, what found most off-putting is just the general culture of hazing. I thought it kind of helped drive home all the little surrounding factors pushing the main character to the edge, but yeah I kept thinking right off the bat you come into my room and start trashing my stuff and throw my bed out the window, you'll be lucky to make it out alive.
It's something I never understood. Ever, in any movie or real life.
Sorry you had a hard time though. There might have been a couple of times where it wasn't easy for me either, and that's saying something but that's why I liked it. It tasked me.

I don't think you understand what I mean. It is one of the most boring movies I have ever seen. I didn't care about anything that was happening and part of my hatred stems from how heavy handed the movie is. I also will not support a movie that makes me feel like I need to take a shower while watching it. Hazing is just a power trip and an example of how stupid, cruel and socially brainwashed people are. |
