No, though there have been movies that improved upon viewing. I didn't like "Iron Man 3" when I first saw it (plot was a bit bloated and contrived, hated what they did with the Mandarin). On a second viewing the plot was more coherent (particuarly after watching the first Avengers film), though it's still the weakest of the Iron Man film.

Closeat example I can come up with is Vertigo. Hated it like Battlefield Earth, no. Any movie that makes that strong of a reaction usually will not encourage a 2nd viewing. But I thought Vertigo was definitely the bottom of Hitchcock's filmography. Vary pale when compared to Rear Window or North be Northwest. O Brother, Where Art Thou is another. It wasn't until the 2nd viewing where i got "Hey, this is Homer's Odyssey!" and not just about Clooney's hairdo.

I've had movies go from lukewarm to like, or hate to lukewarm. A complete 180 is rare. Two examples I can think of, and both movies I first saw when I was way too young to appreciate, are Pulp Fiction and Taxi Driver.
Btw, I rewatched It Follows myself for the OHC this year and still don't care for it.
