Thanks for mentioning Simba, Timon & Pumbaa, BATouttaheck. They really should’ve been one of the first trios to occur to me...but my memory isn’t great, so sometimes things that should be obvious to me slip my mind. Anyway, I’m glad you mentioned them. It also made me think of who would be my three favourite trios out of all the Disney animated films. The trio from The Lion King (1994) would be in top spot, and these would be the other two... Aladdin (voiced by Scott Weinger), Abu (voiced by Frank Welker) and the Magic Carpet in the 1992 film Aladdin. No, I didn’t include the Genie - and that’s because, despite me being as much of a fan of his character (voiced by Robin Williams) as everyone else no doubt was...I always liked the fact that these three were a team before the Genie ever entered the picture. Pocahontas (voiced by Irene Bedard), Flit (voiced by Frank Welker) and Meeko (voiced by John Kassir) in the 1995 film Pocahontas. Forget John Smith, I wanted to see Pocahontas spend more time with her two animal buddies. I also found it interesting that there were actors who voiced Meeko and Flit when, as far as I can recall, they didn't really 'speak', but just made various sounds/noises...but I guess there had to be someone to make those sounds/noises.
