Even the sequels don't always pan out. Look at Blade Runner 2049.

And super hero movies? Bad times at the El Royale box office that's why The Nice Guys (2016) A Cure For Wellness (2017) The latter had a fucking Super Bowl ad, but was out of the top ten after the second weekend.

Bad times at the El Royale isn't that great. Great cast but too long and the thing that somehow was a turn down was that it's not has much that each character is linked to the other or competing for the same stuff but that it's whose problems will overflow on the others. Somehow I feel that Dock and Darlene could have figured out a solution without really being involved with the others. That was boring.

And super hero movies? Bad times at the El Royale box office that's why Yes it' because they flopped with DVDs, because of all of the bootleggers. As a result they only greenlight movies that have brand recognition. Or that have a marketable star or director.

And super hero movies? Bad times at the El Royale box office that's why I, don't even mind that we're just getting sequels and remakes because:
That's all they basically 'know how to do' at this point.
