Or hardcore patriots, whatever. It would be an interesting angle to explore.

You mean like a group of Muslim mutants?

What's the point? As mutants they left humanity behind.

What's the point? As mutants they left humanity behind. What does that mean? They are pretty human, just with powers.

So if Bill gates puts a jetpack into his sons skeleton we will start worshiping the little fucker?

What's the point? As mutants they left humanity behind. Having there be mutants who actively try to get along with Humans and are better off for it would make for nuanced storytelling... ...However that would make Xavier and Magneto look bad, and FOX is allergic to this so no go. Unfortunately.

Why can't they move on from Magneto in the movies? Incompetence. Take your Ritalin. You know Magneto would kick the shit out of every single one of the Avengers.

Take your Ritalin. You know Magneto would kick the shit out of every single one of the Avengers. Not really, it's just that the X-Writers have been too spineless to have him fight anyone who could easily annihilate him. Put Magneto up against the Impossible Man and tell me with a straight face that Magneto would win. Hell, written properly Ant-Man could beat Magneto. But the X-Writers are too spineless to show it.

Because if so, "spineless" is an understatement. The X-books have been badly mishandled for a really long time.

Frankly, Xavier and Magneto ran their course over 20 years ago. Aunt May really should've been gone back in the 80s too.

Take your Ritalin. You know Magneto would kick the shit out of every single one of the Avengers. So keep focusing on an almost 20 years old movie character just because he is uberpowerful?
