Chicago. Never listened growing up but man, what a band back in the day. Tight rhythm section. 3 great singers. Great horns. Underrated guitarist in Terry Kath.

I think I know only two songs by them ( If You Leave Me Now and 25 or 6 to something or other) You've piqued my interest..... Gonna investigate.

Not many tracks with more energy than this one. The Muscle Shoals crew was smokin' that day.

I barely paid any mind to Talking Heads in the 80's, but in my need for something retro but new, I seem to be listening to them a lot lately.
Bands I never even knew existed too, like The English Beat or JoBoxers have been like an archeological discovery of late. I would have loved them then, at least I found them now.

Tony Joe White Buddy Guy Dave Alvin John Doe Chrissie Hynde Ry Cooder Lee Fields Van Morrison Nick Cave Great to see there's still other Doc's in the house. Hope you doing ok, fellow. I have loved Tony Joe White's work for a while now, he's constantly on me and my lady's shuffle playlist when she's beating me at games. Got the Tony Joe seed a few years back from our old esteemed IMDb browsing one of the Now playing thread's. Sad to hear his demise Chrissie Hynde has knocked out some great stuff for years and love Ry Cooder...not least for his getting all those poor Cuban legends into prominence and a fuller wallet a while back via Buena Vista project. A lot of friends are into Nick Cave...i have found him intriguing and singular but admit i do need to hear more. happy days, Doc.
