In light of Ben Affleck's departure (or whatever the hell he's been doing lately), I wouldn't mind this and that Batgirl movie as a replacement.

I agree. I am far more interested in seeing the 'Batgirl' and 'Nightwing' movies more than 'The Batman' and any other movies in the DCEU and MCU and the only interest I have in 'The Batman' is the Bat Family members and it is time they start focusing on Red Robin, the Spoiler, Orphan, Bluebird, Batwoman, Azrael, Batwing etc.

I think most people had forgotten BATMAN & ROBIN.

I hope the fight choreographers from Raid will be part of this Dunno. Thing about Nightwing is that it shouldn't cost a shitton of money like say BVS or even SS. $60 to $80M (or even less in the hands of say Gareth Evans) seems sufficient.

I think most people had forgotten BATMAN & ROBIN. From what I have heard it was Christopher Nolan which stopped them from using the Bat Family characters on screen 'cause he wanted to have Batman as a lone vigilante and wasn't a fan of the Bat Family characters and that stopped a Nightwing movie from happening when Nightwing got voted the superhero fans wanted to see get their own movie most three years in a row 'cause Warner Bros wouldn't let anybody use the Bat Family characters in movies that didn't connect to the Dark Knight trilogy and the good thing that came out of that was DC pushed the Bat Family characters harder in the comic books and gave more of them their own spinoffs 'cause many fans wanted to see more Bat Family characters and Nolan robbed us of seeing them on screen for around a decade. Zack Snyder was going to make the dead Robin in 'Suicide Squad' Dick Grayson but Warner Bros wouldn't let him use the name 'cause they knew how popular Dick was and saw potential in a 'Nightwing' movie and with Snyder gone we are getting a 'Nightwing' movie.

Well now McKay's doing Jonny Quest and Dungeons & Dragons so he'll be keeping himself busy till WB gives the okay to move forward.
